The President of Moldova, Igor Dodon, decided to go on holiday during the presidential race. His powers were transferred to the President of the Parliament, Zinaida Greceana.
The Head of State made this decision to avoid accusations that he is using administrative resources.
Opponents, particularly Maya Sandu, like to shout out in advance about falsified election results. Dodon’s decision to move away from running the state during the election campaign will clearly hit her strategy based on the accusation of a competitor.
