The press service of the Iraqi security forces reported the deaths of five militants. They were preparing a terrorist attack.
The terrorists were blown up on their own explosives, which they tried to install on the car.
The car exploded in the western part of the country near the town of Rutba.
“After clarifying the information, it became clear that the car exploded in one of the hideouts of the IS militants when they stuffed the car with explosives,” the statement said.
