The flight of the An-26 military aircraft went according to plan, but the aircraft could catch on with its wing, which led to the disaster.
This was announced on Saturday, September 26, by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Taran.
“Everything went according to plan. The plane performed training flights to train cadets. The pilot-instructor was constantly at the helm of the aircraft, the cadets sat in the right seat to acquire the skills to control the aircraft. Preliminary analysis suggests that, most likely, the plane caught its wing on the ground”, – the official said.
According to him, the flight recorder survived. Soon, experts will analyze the information and draw final conclusions. Taran assured that the plane’s engine did not fail, and the problem arose with the sensor. At the same time, he admitted that the car is already 43 years old.
