The Polish authorities have officially refused to recognize Alexander Lukashenko as President of Belarus.
This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Zbigniew Rau, who said that the power in Belarus “has lost its legitimacy.”
“We cannot consider President Alexander Lukashenko to have legitimacy from a democratic society. This is a completely different subject, ” the diplomat said.
Warsaw has been actively shaking up the situation in Belarus from the very beginning. This statement, in fact, no longer changes anything.
