US President Donald Trump confirmed plans to withdraw a significant number of US troops from Iraq and Afghanistan.
“Much progress has been made in Afghanistan. We will reduce the number of soldiers to four thousand in a very short time. Just like in Iraq, we will soon reduce the number of soldiers to two thousand”, – Trump said.
The President mentioned that the U.S. military is also in Syria, but he did not specify whether they will withdraw from that country.
“We have left Syria to a large extent”, – Trump assured.
