In the period from January to August 2020 the trade turnover between Ukraine and Russia increased to $37.9 billion.
While the Ukrainian media and politicians continue to talk about “Russian aggression”, Ukrainian business is quietly trading with Russia.
According to the State Customs Service, exports of goods from Ukraine to Russia during the reporting period amounted to $ 12 billion, the volume of Russian imports of goods to Ukraine – $ 25.2 billion. This allowed Russia to take second place in the list of the largest trading partners of Ukraine.
First place belongs to China, trade turnover with which since the beginning of this year reached $39.6 billion. The third place is occupied by Germany – $26.2 billion.
