USA: Protests in Kenosh continue for the third day

The riots continue for the third day despite the introduction of curfews. Protesters ignored calls from the guardians of order to disperse and tried to tear down the fence around the district court building in the city. In response, the police used tear gas and opened fire from the roof on the demonstrators with pneumatic weapons.

In the previous days of protests, three dozen fires broke out in the city and the prison department was completely burned down.

Local emergency services were unable to cope and had to call for help from neighboring Illinois.

National Guard units also arrived in the city.
