Serbia will under no circumstances recognize the independence of the province of Kosovo

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated that the possible Washington meeting would still have one outcome.

During his visit to an army review in Batainica, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told reporters that he did not rule out the possibility of postponing the meeting in Washington, as the Kosovo separatists were trying to do, but assured them that recognition of the rebellious region’s independence was out of the question.

“I can guarantee that I will fight for Serbian interests at meetings in Washington and Brussels. And wherever and whenever a meeting is held, I will tell those who dream of having Kosovo’s recognition signed there that under no circumstances will they have that opportunity,” the Serbian leader promised.
