Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss strengthening security in the Middle East region.

“The Russian side emphasized its principled position in support of a just, comprehensive and sustainable solution of the Palestinian problem and expressed hope that the agreement between Israel and the UAE will contribute to strengthening stability and security in the region”, – the report says.
It is also noted that the politicians discussed the fight against terrorism in Syria. Putin and Netanyahu agreed to continue coordination in the Syrian direction to counter international terrorism.
