Turkish diplomats criticized the agreement on the demarcation of maritime boundaries and the establishment of exclusive economic zones (EEZ) in the Eastern Mediterranean.
This is a document signed by Greece and Egypt. The Turkish Foreign Ministry said that the agreement has no force.
“For Turkey, the so-called agreement on the delimitation of maritime jurisdiction, signed between Greece and Egypt, has no force. This approach will be demonstrated “on the ground” and at the negotiating table”, – the foreign ministry said in a statement.
