In the Syrian governorate of Dayr al-Zawr, in the towns of Diban, al-Hawij and Shuhayl, local residents protested against the killing of Sheikh al-Aqidat Mushtar al-Hafel.
As a result of the protests, locals burned down the headquarters of SDF in al-Hawij. Clashes erupted. Three protesters were injured and are in hospital.
