There were protests against quarantine restrictions in the Netherlands

In three Dutch cities, several hundred people protested against quarantine restrictions.

In Amsterdam, Groningen and Enschede several hundred people protested against the coronavirus restrictions.
The biggest protest was in Groningen, where about 200 protesters gathered.

In Amsterdam, the protest gathered several dozen people on Museum Square. About 40 people came out in Enschede.
The protesters brought posters with the slogans “For freedom, against emergency measures”, “The government did not care about our freedoms”, “This should not become a new norm”.

The police were watching what was happening. There were no confrontations.
