The Turkish army and a pro-Turkish terrorist group launched a missile and artillery attack on populated areas in the northwest of Hasake province on August 2, SANA reported.
First, rockets were fired at the settlements of Tel Harmel, An-Nuweikhat and Khodravi to the west of the village of Abu Rasein, and then artillery began to hit them.
The source notes that this is not the first attack by Turkish troops and pro-Turkish paramilitary groups in the area. The shelling kills civilians and destroys homes and property.
Recall that the main part of the Hasakah province is controlled by Kurdish forces. A US military base is located in thesouth of the region. In the north, some areas are controlled by pro-Turkish militants.
