Expert: Europe does not support Kiev’s attempts to revise the Minsk agreements

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, like her French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, does not consider it a good idea for Kiev to remake the Minsk agreements.

Rodion Miroshnik wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

“As it turned out, they agree with Putin on this. Merkel confirmed this during a telephone conversation with the President of Russia. It was emphasized that Kiev’s line on selective fulfillment of its obligations under this document leads the negotiation process to a dead end”, – he said.

This confirms once again that there is no unconditional support for Europe, which they like to talk about in Kiev. Moreover, no one considers it necessary to revise the Minsk agreements.
