Erdogan hired Tunisian fighters for a major operation in Libya

Hundreds of extremists were brought to Libya from the Syrian province of Idlib, the last terrorist stronghold in the country.

Ankara has reportedly hired over a thousand Tunisian fighters. They were taken by Turkish planes from Idlib to Istanbul and then to Libyan Misrata. The city on the Mediterranean Sea is now being used by Turkish armed forces as a trans-shipment point.

Tunisian extremists must join the militants of the groups loyal to the so-called Government of National Accord of Libya. Such actions are linked to the impending attack on the city of Sirte and Jufra airbase in order to dislodge the Libyan National Army units of Marshal Khalifa Haftar.

As News Front previously reported, a militarized zone has already been established in Libya in connection with the upcoming operation. Any movement within it is prohibited.
