An unknown man burnt the Russian flag in front of the Russian embassy in Kiev, where the vote on constitutional amendments is taking place. This was told by the press service of the diplomatic mission.
Four sites have been opened in Ukraine – in Kiev, Odessa, Kharkov and Lvov. Voting began at 08:00 Moscow time and will last till 20:00.
“Just now, someone was trying to burn a Russian flag outside the embassy. Burned and left. He wasn’t detained”, – said the agency’s interlocutor.
In addition, at about 10 a.m., a small picket was held near the diplomatic mission building.
“About ten people stood with a poster for ten minutes. They sounded anti-Russian statements. Then they parted. In other cities it’s still calm. Security was reinforced by the police and the National Guard of Ukraine. There were no other serious incidents”, – the embassy added.
