Milorad Dodik meets Putin and Shoigu in Moscow, gives respect to Russia and its President

The representative of the Serbs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik during a personal meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday discussed bilateral cooperation and congratulated Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu on the successful organization of the parade, Dodik told the reporters.

“Everything was dedicated to the Victory Parade, those memories of those military days, the suffering that the Serbian and Russian peoples experienced. There was also the opportunity to discuss our plans for this year, issues that relate to our bilateral cooperation”, – Dodik said, answering the question about the topics that they managed to discuss during the meeting with Putin in Moscow.

He added that Russia and the Republika Srpska cooperate very well and the latter is grateful to Russia for the cooperation that they carry out in all areas. Among them there is economy, culture, education, and healthcare.

“Russia is a very important partner for us in political issues, because it is a member of the Council for the Introduction of Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Council for the Implementation of the General Framework Agreement for Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina – ed.)”, – the interlocutor pointed out.

Dodik added that under the protocol he also had the opportunity to meet the Russian Minister of Defense.

“And I had the opportunity to congratulate Mr. Shoigu on such a successful organization of the parade. Of course, due to such a minister as Shoigu, Russia regained its position in the international strategic plan, and this, of course, gives  importance to everything that Russia, whose leader is Vladimir Putin, does”, – Dodik added.

Member of the Presidium of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the Serbs Milorad Dodik on Wednesday visited the Victory Parade in Moscow.
