A large anti-government campaign organized in Belarus by representatives of the pro-Western opposition ended in the arrests of more than 40 people.
This was reported by the Belarusian human rights center “Spring”.
According to the organization, there are detainees both in the capital of the country and in Bobruisk, Gomel, Vitebsk, Mogilev, Grodno and Novopolotsk. Arrests took place due to the fact that the opposition staged a provocation with anti-government rallies.
Reportedly, propaganda-funded Radio Liberty, as well as Reuters agencies, were also among those detained.
