The Israeli army began raids in the West Bank. The raids were accompanied by mass arrests of persons claimed by Israeli authorities to be wanted by law enforcement agencies.
The Israel Defense Forces, in particular, entered the city of Shimalia in the course of its large-scale entry into the Palestinian National Authority (Palestinian Authority). That’s where IDF units took over the old town. Troops have also entered the city of Arraba. In Ramallah, several areas were searched and 10 Palestinians were arrested.
