Dairy producer Danone stopped the advertising campaign with the participation of Russian actor Mikhail Porechenkov, who supports the national republics of Donbass.
This was announced on a social network by the Ukrainian ambassador in Paris Oleg Shamshur.
“I just got a call from Danone France’s Secretary General Matthias Vishera. The company stops the advertising campaign with the participation of Porechenkov. A quick and adequate reaction, ” the diplomat wrote.
Earlier, the French company was faced with indignation at the Ukrainian diplomatic mission, which indicated that Porechenkov was being prosecuted in Ukraine for “terrorist activities”. Diplomats called the actor “an henchman of Kremlin terrorists” and demanded that advertising with him be prohibited in solidarity with the Kiev militants involved in the punitive operation in the Donbass.
