In the USA, almost 200 thousand people went to Washington: they demand to deprive the police of financing

Nearly 200,000 Americans marched on Washington, DC. It was attended by supporters of the struggle for civil rights and against police violence.

The organizers were the Black Lives Matter movement. True, they wanted to gather a million people, but did not find even 200 thousand people.

The White House was guarded by almost 5 thousand soldiers of the National Guard. Fortunately, they were not useful: the demonstrators peacefully held the rally and did not bring the situation to clashes.

Participants in the march demanded to engage in a deep reform of the police – they were popular and ideas to completely deprive law enforcement agencies of any funding.
