Local residents, together with members of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), intercepted a convoy of US troops who were heading from Ad-Derdar to the Abu Rasin region, located in the north of Hasaka province, a military source said.

According to available information, after the locals stopped the convoy of US troops, US soldiers had to turn around and leave in another direction.

It is worth adding that over the past few months this is not the first time that local residents in Hasaka province have opposed the presence in this province of occupying US troops and Kurdish militants from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), closely linked to Washington.
