The situation with the conclusion of a new credit transaction between Ukraine and the IMF is increasingly becoming a tragicomedy.
The Prime Minister Denis Shmygal announced that the meeting of the Board of Directors of the International Monetary Fund on cooperation with Ukraine in the framework of the new stand-by program on June 5 will not take place.
The IMF schedule for this date contains only questions on Liberia and Papua New Guinea. On June 3, the IMF will consider issues in Mongolia, Sierra Leone and Barbados, and on June 10 in Guatemala and Rwanda.
Despite the fact that for the sake of IMF money, the leadership of Ukraine agreed to adopt laws on land and banking, to continue the destructive “Medreform named after Suprun ”, raising gas tariffs for the population to the level of gas prices for industrial enterprises, the IMF again showed Ukraine a big fig.
