The authorities of Poland consider June 28 the deadline for holding the presidential election, which had previously been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
This was stated by the head of the Prime Minister’s Office, Mihol Dvorchik.
“June 28 is the deadline by which elections can be held, wishing to comply with other deadlines for which the law requires,” he said on Polish Radio. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
The courtyard stressed that holding elections at a later date would lead to the fact that “after August 6, there will be no elected president of the republic.”
Earlier it became known that the presidential election in Poland on May 10 will not be possible due to the pandemic of the coronavirus infection.
After that, the lower house of the Polish parliament passed a bill on presidential elections in a mixed way.
