Three times a day, Ukrainian security forces violated the ceasefire by firing at the territory of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic, the reporters were told at the LPR representative office in the Joint Center for the Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire (JCCC).
Earlier, the LPR representative office in the Joint Center for the Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire regime stated that on Saturday, as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the village of Berezovskoye under the control of the republic, the high-voltage line that fed the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant was damaged. Later, the LPR People’s Police announced the shelling of the village of Donetsk in the LPR and the death of the militia.
“On May 16, three shellings were recorded by the armed forces of Ukraine”, – the LPR representative said.
He specified that the Ukrainian security forces fired from 82-millimeter mortars and BMP weapons at the settlements under the control of the republic, Berezovskoye, Donetsk and Bold.
