King of Jordan threatens Israel with war

The accession of part of the Jordan Valley to Israel will have dangerous consequences. This warning was made by the King of Jordan Abdullah II.

“If Israel does annex part of the West Bank in July, this will lead to a major clash with the Hashemite kingdom. I do not want to put forward threats and strengthen disagreements, but we are studying all the options for an answer, ” the king noted. “We agree with many countries in Europe and the international community that the law of force should not be applied in the Middle East.”

As Abdullah II emphasized, the collapse of the Palestinian National Authority in Ramallah “will lead to anarchy and the growth of extremism throughout the region.” According to him, the settlement of the Arab-Israeli conflict on the basis of the coexistence of two states (Israel and Palestine) remains “the only way that will allow us to move forward.”
