The Washington Post and several other media outlets have noted that Trump has pissed off the issue of an Asian journalist.
U.S. President Donald Trump interrupted his briefing at the White House on the coronavirus because of a dispute with the journalists. This was reported by TASS on Monday, May 11.
During his speech, the American leader said that the U.S. had conducted more tests than other countries. After that, a CBS employee asked Trump why he constantly focuses on the U.S. rivalry with other countries in terms of the number of conducted tests for coronavirus instead of paying attention to the situation in the country where the mortality rate is growing. When asked why this is happening, Trump was harshly advised to ask China about it.
“People are dying all over the world. Perhaps that’s a question you should ask China. Don’t ask me, ask China. If you ask them, you can get a very unusual answer”, – said the American leader in a rather harsh tone.
In addition, he called the question nasty, which already outraged the journalist.
After exchanging a few more lines, Trump said goodbye to those present and left the briefing.
Earlier it was reported that more than 80 thousand people died from coronavirus in the USA. This is evidenced by data from the Worldometer website, which specializes in world statistics on COVID-19.
