Pushilin: after the land law Zelenskyi lost the right to speak about the integrity of Ukraine

According to the Head of Donetsk People’s Republic, Ukraine needs not people but territory.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi lost the moral right to speak about the protection of the country’s territorial integrity after signing the law on land market opening. The head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denys Pushilin said this on Tuesday.

“Today Zelenskyi signed the anti-Ukrainian law regulating the land market, and he himself called this event historic. <…> Having encroached on the national wealth of his native country, this person has no right to speak about its territorial integrity”, –  the statement on the website of the head of the republic emphasizes.

Pushilin added that now the words of the Ukrainian leader about the desire to return the Donbass can be seen as an attempt to return the fertile land of the region.

“They do not need people, they need our territory” , –  he stated. According to him, “extermination of the people, financial slavery, and now the sale of land – these are not all methods that the Kiev regime is capable of”.

“I would like very much that the citizens, who now live on the territory of today’s Ukraine, would understand the entire scale of the Ukrainian tragedy”, –  the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council concluded.

Earlier on Tuesday Zelenskyi signed the law on opening of agricultural land market in Ukraine. The IMF put forward the adoption of this law as one of the key requirements for the new credit tranche. Referring to numerous violations of voting regulations, the opposition in Rada said that it intended to appeal against the document to the Constitutional Court.
