China has protested the passage of the US Navy Barry ship near the Paracel Islands in the South China Sea. This was stated by the official representative of the southern zone of the combat command of the People’s Liberation Army of China, Senior Colonel Li Huamin.
“These provocative actions by the American side are a serious violation of relevant international law, as well as the sovereignty and security interests of China,” Li Huamin said.
He also emphasized that all the actions of the American ship were completely controlled by the armed forces of China.
