During a video conference on Thursday, NATO foreign ministers adopted a document on cooperation with Ukraine and Georgia. This was stated by Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Chaputowicz at a press conference following the talks.
“The Ministers stressed the importance of cooperation with Ukraine and Georgia to expand the zone of stability and security in the immediate neighborhood of the alliance”, – the Minister said.
According to him, Poland supports granting Ukraine the status of partner of expanded opportunities and a modernized package of cooperation with NATO for Georgia. “The ministers adopted today a document on cooperation with these countries,” Chaputovic said, without revealing any details of this document.
The meeting of the NATO foreign ministers was held on Thursday for the first time by videoconference because of the new coronavirus pandemic.
