The Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko said he expects to develop mutually acceptable solutions “in the spirit of true alliance” from the integration of Belarus and the Russian Federation, the Press Service of the Head of the Republic said on Thursday.
According to it, Lukashenko sent a congratulation to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia. In the congratulation, in particular, it is noted that today the two countries are at the threshold of a new unifying stage.
“The development of mutually acceptable solutions in the spirit of true alliance is a serious reserve for a worthy future for the peoples of Belarus and Russia”, – Lukashenko said.
He also noted that the beginning of the integration processes within the Union State contributed to filling the Belarusian-Russian relations with deeper content and created real advantages for the effective economic and social development of the two countries. The head of the republic expressed his conviction that in the future they will be able to maintain the high dynamics of bilateral and integration interaction.
Lukashenko also sent greetings on Unity Day to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Federation Council Chairman Valentina Matvienko, State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin, Union State Secretary of State Union Grigory Rapota, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill.
