US President Donald Trump extended sanctions against Venezuela for a year. This is stated in the message of the White House.
The sanctions were introduced five years ago. At the same time, the Americans argue that the reasons (alleged human rights violations in the country) have not been eliminated, and therefore the sanctions war continues.
“These circumstances continue to pose an unusual threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States”, – say the U.S. Presidential Administration, but poorly prove that these circumstances exist at all.
