Ukraine is preparing a provocation in Crimea on May 3. This was reported by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
“Now a new provocation is being prepared – a certain“ March to the Crimea ”on May 3. Its organizers from the so-called “Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people” are going to literally break into the peninsula across the state border of Russia,” Zakharova said.
Moscow calls on Kiev to abandon such plans, she stressed.
“By escalating the situation around the Crimean peninsula, the European Union continues the inhumane practice of visa discrimination against Crimeans, which contradicts not only key international standards in the field of human rights, but also a number of fundamental documents of the EU itself,” the representative of the department said.
