Russia intends to deepen its relations with the Republic of South Africa, said the Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev, during a meeting with the Minister of State Security of South Africa, Ayanda Dlodlo, in Moscow, the press service of the Russian Security Council.
“Nikolay Patrushev and Mrs. Ayanda Dlodlo discussed a wide range of issues of Russian-South African security cooperation, as well as cooperation in the international arena. Nikolay Patrushev, in particular, stressed that Russia has been and remains committed to further deepening of the whole complex of relations with South Africa, and also expressed satisfaction with the level of interaction between the two countries in the UN”, – the report says.
The interlocutors paid special attention to cooperation on the part of special services and law enforcement agencies, as well as cooperation on the antiterrorist track. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Foreign Ministry, Defense Ministry and FSS.
