Iran has claimed responsibility for what happened long ago, but Kiev continues its political manipulations.
To date, Ukraine has prepared three versions of the crash of the UIA aircraft in Tehran. All of them are now closed.
This was told by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov in an interview to the “League” publication.
“We have three closed versions. Now we are working on them. We are talking about who was interested [in the crash], who else was involved”, – the official said.
Danilov did not disclose any other details. However, it is important to note that such statements may pursue political goals. The plane crash, which occurred against the backdrop of the Iran-US confrontation, dealt a serious blow to official Tehran. The tragedy was beneficial to Washington, which now has a great influence on the Ukrainian ruling elites. Thus, the “versions” announced by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine may imply a new political attack on the Iranian leadership.
As News Front earlier reported, on 8 January 2020, the Boeing-737 aircraft of the UIA airline crashed shortly after takeoff from the Imam Khomeini airport in the Iranian capital. All 167 passengers and 9 crew members on board were killed. After an internal investigation by the Iranian Air Force, Tehran admitted that the cause of the disaster was a missile strike. According to the Iranian General Staff, the liner flew too close to a sensitive military facility, and the human factor played a decisive role.
