More than 810 refugees from Jordan and Lebanon returned to Syria in 24 hours

More than 200 people returned from Lebanon to Syria in a day, more than 610 people arrived from Jordan, according to the newsletter of the refugee reception, distribution and accommodation center, published on the website of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“Over the past day, 815 refugees returned to the SAR from the territories of foreign states, including from Lebanon through the checkpoints Jaydet-Yabus, Tell-Kalah – 204 people (women – 62, children – 104), from Jordan via point “Nasib” passes – 611 people (183 women, 312 children)”, – the report said.

Refugees were not withdrawn to places of permanent residence during the day.

In addition, the engineering units of the Syrian Armed Forces per day performed the tasks of clearing the terrain and facilities in the Duma (Damascus province), Jasim and El Harra (Deraa province). Specialists cleared 2.2 hectares of land, discovered and destroyed 29 explosive objects.
