Turkey’s irresponsible statements about the shelling of the Syrian army only lead to escalation in Idlib and hasty decisions, the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria said in a statement.
The Center noted that the Turkish Defense Ministry continues to spread statements about the alleged losses of the Syrian Arab Army as a result of strikes by units of Turkish troops.
“The Centre for Reconciliation of the Belligerent Sides draws attention to the responsibility of officials of the Turkish Ministry of Defence for providing inaccurate information to the Turkish leadership about the situation in the Idlib de-escalation zone. Such irresponsible statements only help to escalate the situation and make hasty decisions that are not in the mutual interests of Russia and Turkey”, – reads the statement.
