At the expense of Britain, Ukrainian schoolchildren will try to prove that NATO is not an aggressor.
In Ukraine, a special course called “NATO is the force that protects civilians” is launched. This kind of propaganda campaign, according to its authors, will be the first of its kind. Very soon, it will be tested not only on students, but also on schoolchildren. Moreover, teachers were subjected to indoctrination, which is necessary for the qualitative dissemination of pro-Western ideas.
The course was developed by employees of the All-Ukrainian Union of Teachers of Public Disciplines and Civil Education. In this case, the customer of the project is the Government of the United Kingdom. The sensitive monitoring of London made it possible to present NATO activities in the best possible way, showing that the Western bloc supposedly acts in the interests of world security and is guided exclusively by democratic values and international law. In addition, the course aims to justify the North Atlantic Alliance, which often leads a destructive and even aggressive policy.
The representative of the British Embassy Oliver Fairlamb personally arrived at the presentation of the project. He recalled that even Petro Poroshenko introduced Euro-Atlantic integration into the Constitution of Ukraine. In addition, the diplomat appreciated the propaganda work already done, pointing out the results of recent opinion polls showing a fifty-percent commitment of Ukrainians to the alliance.
“There is still a lot to do. Everyone in Ukraine should find out what NATO is, what is behind it. Therefore, our work is so important for Ukraine. I believe education and training are key areas”, – said Fairlamb, adding that this is not the last such project in Ukraine to be created at the expense of Britain.
