US President Donald Trump discussed with his counterpart from Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan the security situation in Libya, Syria and Iran, as well as the downed plane of Ukraine’s International Airlines, the White House reports.
“The leaders of the two countries discussed the security situation in Syria and Libya, the protests in Iran and Iran’s PS752 plane shot down by Iran,” the White House said in a statement.
On January 8, Iran’s air defense forces mistakenly shot down Boeing 737-800 of Ukraine’s International Airlines at Tehran’s airport. The plane flew along the route Tehran – Kiev. Onboard were 167 passengers and nine crew members. They all died.
