The new French Ambassador Pierre Levy has arrived in Russia, reported the French diplomatic mission in Moscow.
“The newly appointed French Ambassador to Russia, Mr. Pierre Levy, has arrived in Russia and will soon present his credentials to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then to the President of the Russian Federation”, – said the French Embassy on its Facebook page.
From 2 August 2016 to 6 January 2020, Levy served as head of the French diplomatic mission in Poland. Prior to that, he was Director of the Directorate for EU Affairs at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and from 14 January 2010 to 10 July 2013, Pierre Levy served as the French Ambassador to the Czech Republic.
