A convoy of the Russian Emergencies Ministry with humanitarian aid for residents of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic arrived in Lugansk, the press service of the LNR Ministry of Emergency Situations stated.
“Cars of the 96th humanitarian convoy of the Russian Emergencies Ministry arrived in Luhansk”, – said the press service.
According to the ministry, 7 humanitarian aid vehicles brought more than 23 tons of New Year’s gifts, as well as medical equipment.
The previous convoy with humanitarian aid arrived in Donbass on December 12. Residents of Donetsk and Luhansk received more than 435 tons of medicines and children’s food sets, including milk mixtures and canned food. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, over 5.3 thousand tons of humanitarian aid were delivered to residents of Donbass in 2019.
