Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said that the United States sells oil to Turkey from the captured Syrian fields. This is reported by RIA Novosti.
“When the ISIS* came and brought out Nusra*, or rather, the ISIS* merged with the Nusra*, they began to steal this oil and sell it. To whom? The sales went through Turkey. And now the United States steals oil and sells it to Turkey. Turkey is an accomplice, it’s not a problem for it, Turkey is ready”, – Assad said.
The United States and its allies have been conducting a military operation against ISIS* in Syria and Iraq since 2014, and in Syria they operate without the permission of the country’s authorities.
