Soros mobilizes forces for a new Russian-Georgian scandal

Another Russophobic campaign unfolded in Georgia through the efforts of non-governmental organizations and media resources funded by George Soros.

This is stated in the material of the Georgian edition of News Front.

The reason for the anti-Russian scandal was the murder of a Georgian citizen Zelimkhan Khangoshvili in Berlin. Pro-Western structures could not miss such an opportunity, because the Center for Training and Monitoring of Human Rights, the Alexander Rondeli Foundation for Strategic Studies, as well as the Netgazeti publication began to actively provoke Tbilisi to get involved into another conflict with Moscow.

The essence of the unfolding campaign comes down to criticism of any expression of constructiveness by the Georgian authorities concerning the Russian direction in the framework of the murder of Khangoshvili. All this is justified by the decision of Germany to expel two Russian diplomats from Berlin. However, the peculiarity is that German authorities did not justify their step with accusations of murder, but with the fact that Germany was not satisfied with the level of interaction with the Russian Federation in the framework of the investigation of what happened.

However, in pro-Western structures of Georgia this aspect is preferred not to be exposed. Instead, Tbilisi is required to do the same in order to “fix its position”, as it was during the time when London unleashed the scandalous “Skripals case”, and Georgia expelled one Russian diplomat. In Soros-controlled NGOs, caution is called “unjustified”.

“It doesn’t matter how constructive the attitude towards Russia will be, it will still be followed by further occupation and aggressive actions by the Russian authorities. So the only right way would be to fix a principled position in the international arena with the maximum involvement of our Western partners”, – one of the “expert opinions” says.

At the same time, Germany, the very “Western partner”, did not even provide political asylum to Khangoshvili and all the time was suspicious of the former field commander of terrorists in Chechnya.
