The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the LNR, Anna Soroka, told our correspondent about the results of the work of the public organization Memorial.
The activities of the organization, created on the initiative of the head of the LPR, are aimed at protecting the rights of people affected by the crimes of the military-political leadership of Ukraine. Memorial consolidates all materials with facts of war crimes from executive authorities and public structures. A public organization, performing its functions, works together with the authorities of the Republic, Ukrainian lawyers and the Investigative Committee of Russia.
“According to the European Court of Human Rights, we took out 209 people (for filling out the forms). Regarding the International Criminal Court, we have compiled about 600 applications that were sent to The Hague”, – said Anna Soroka.
“We also conduct explanatory talks with persons affected by the actions of the Ukrainian military, telling them about possible measures to protect their rights”, – she added.
