Syrian troops captured the country’s second largest hydroelectric power station

The second largest hydroelectric power plant “Tishrin” in the Syrian province of Aleppo is taken under the control of the authorities.

This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the representative of the command of the group of Russian troops in Syria Boris Fomichev.

According to him, the hydroelectric power station has now been liberated thanks to the courage of the Syrian people. In addition to the HPP itself, the territories adjacent to the power plant have been liberated.

“Now it is working, and it supplies electricity in the province of Aleppo, Raqqa”, — said Fomichev.

He added that currently local people are calmly on its territory, because there is no terrorism.
