A flight with 32 Russian children from Iraq, whose parents joined the Islamic State*, landed at Zhukovsky Airport. This was reported by the Press Service of the Ministry of Health of Russia.
“32 children who were previously in prison were delivered from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Baghdad to Moscow today”, – the report said.
As noted, they will be delivered to the National Medical Research Center for Children’s Health of the Ministry of Health, where they will undergo a comprehensive examination.
The department reminded that this is the fourth, final evacuation of children from Iraq.
Earlier, the Press Service of the Commissioner for Children’s Rights, Anna Kuznetsova, reported that the plane flew to Moscow.
An interdepartmental commission on assisting the return of children in the war zone was established in 2017.
