Mass anti-government protests organized by the opposition after the failure of the parliamentary vote to introduce the proportional electoral system in the country resumed in Georgia. In Tbilisi, protesters spent the whole night in tents pitched on the roadway of Rustaveli Avenue near the Parliament building.
The protesters blame the chairman of the ruling party “Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia” Bidzina Ivanishvili for everything and demand the formation of an interim technical government and the holding of early parliamentary elections according to the proportional system.
