American gas goes to Poland for further sale to Ukraine

Liquefied gas from the United States, which is intended for further transportation to Ukraine, will arrive in a Polish terminal on the Baltic Sea coast in a few days.

This was announced by Vice President of the Polish oil and gas company PGNiG Maciej Wozniak, informs Ukrainform with reference to Biznesalert.pl

“Gas is on the road, it will arrive at the port on or about November 19,” Wozniak said.

According to him, gas will be delivered to Ukraine for PGNiG partner – ERU Trading company.

It is noted that ERU Trading is one of the largest private gas companies in Ukraine, which has been operating in the Ukrainian gas market since 2015. In 2016, it began working with PGNiG on the import of natural gas from Poland.

Recall that in August 2019 PGNiG acquired a cargo of liquefied natural gas from the United States, and then, after regasification, sold it to the Ukrainian company Energy Resources of Ukraine.
