The whistleblower, who complained about the alleged pressure of US President Donald Trump on the leadership of Ukraine, turned out to be an official of the administration of ex-US President Barack Obama Eric Chiaramella.
Chiaramella was Director of Baltic and Eastern European Affairs at the National Security Council during the Obama presidency. He was engaged in the Ukrainian direction. Now he works as an analyst at the CIA.
Chiaramella interacted with Ukraine on Ukraine’s issues, who played a key role in drafting the dossier against Trump, which was handled by Fusion GPS. Hillary Clinton and the National Committee of the Democratic Party funded the preparation of the dossiers. The author of the dossier, Christopher Steele, sent Nuland information on Ukrainian issues.
