After the missile launches of North Korea, China called on all parties to resolve differences through dialogue and work to implement the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said at a briefing on Friday.
Earlier it was reported that the DPRK launched two missiles from the region of Sunchon in the province of Pyongan Namdo towards the Sea of Japan, the flight range was about 370 kilometers, the height was about 90 kilometers. Later, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un congratulated the specialists of the National Defense Academy on a successful test of the security of the continuous fire system.
“China drew attention to the relevant events, the situation on the Korean peninsula is currently at a decisive stage, we urge all parties to appreciate the progress achieved with great difficulty, to eliminate differences through dialogue and consultation”, – the diplomat said.
He added that “all parties should work to implement the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and achieve lasting peace on the peninsula and in the region”.
